Software-Defined Datacenter is latest buzz word and darling of lot of marketing folks around. However I have not seen a single place if someone wants to put together a demo lab setup to really asses how SDDC can be utilized for IT organization.
In this post, I want to show how you can build Software-Defined Datacenter(SDDC) demo lab. The goal is to give customer an understand of what SDDC technologies can do and how they can interplay. This is completely build on nested (ESXi Hosts running as VMs) environment for simplicity and quickness to demonstrate.
Software-defined.X is all about Management and Orchestration. It has nothing go to do replace Hardware. I hope you can get flavor from this series of posts.
There are many ways to setup SDDC technologies and with technologies from different vendors. This post will one way to do things. I intent to give a flavor of what can customer can get out of SDDC technologies.
